It might not confirm her WWE return, but Naomi is distancing herself from rumors she’s started a new business.
Potentially adding to speculation Naomi could be on her way back to WWE, the former WWE Superstar quickly shot down online rumors of her starting a new business venture. With speculation she’s no longer under contract with the sports entertainment giant, it would make sense that she would want to get involved in other business opportunities. That said, if she’s not starting something new, especially something that might interfere with a WWE contract, it is logical she would be quick to shoot the speculation down.
In response to a Sportskeeda article that she was getting into the t-shirt business, Naomi simply wrote on social media, “This is not true Sportskeeda.” The original post suggested she has dipped her toes into the merchandise business and was working with a company called For Ur Wear. That company’s official Twitter account published a post showing off a range of the 50 available shirts, and the assumption was that Naomi was working with them on the line. That is not accurate.
It was later learned that fans have created the line and are running that particular account. It will be interesting to see how quickly WWE puts an end to the sale of the shirts, especially if she does appear on WWE programming in the next few days to weeks. Considering the shirts have her likeness on them, they might take issue. If Naomi is not behind the shirts, she might as well.
Is This A Clue Naomi Is Returning?
Naomi shooting down her involvement in the line of t-shirts could mean a number of things. She could be upset that someone would use her likeness to sell something with her image. Or, if she’s trying not to ruffle feathers with WWE — should she be returning — it makes sense she would immediately distance herself from the post.
